Project Objectives

  • Creation of a single information space for real-time operational management of the enterprise;

  • Automation of collection, storage and processing of information on production and economic activities of the enterprise;

Situation

The customer is a fast-growing and developing enterprise, the existing Iiko database ceased to meet the requirements of the customer and the question arose about switching to another automated system, due to the lack of:

  • a single information space;
  • accrual accounting in warehouses and production shops;
  • automated collection and storage of information;
  • Automated product costing and retail pricing;
  • and due to lack of analytical reports.

The customer has contacted us to resolve the following issues:

  • Disparity of users, maintenance of data in different information databases.
  • Limited functionality of the system in use with the inability to provide:
    • high intensity of bakeries network operation;
    • Handling a large volume of orders;
    • reliable information on food receipts, their further movement to warehouses, processing in production shops and preparation of products in accordance with calculation cards.

  • No automatic calculation of production costs.
  • No operational tracking of the profitability of finished products.
  • The inability to determine the retail value of a product based on a given mark-up, excluding manual labor.
  • Limited automated reports that allow you to quickly obtain up-to-date, complete and reliable information in a wide variety of analytical sections for different categories of users.

Decision

Based on the experience of implementing such projects and taking into account the needs of the customer, the ICL Soft team analyzed existing solutions, demonstrated a comparison of solutions, and the bakery chain management chose the "Dalion" software product we offered. Trend "(back-office).

DALION: TREND is designed to meet the needs of online retail and is suitable for automation, both grocery and non-grocery stores. The software product fully complies with the requirements of the legislation.

In order to carry out the project, 73 points were analysed to identify bottlenecks and to develop the same rules for the preparation of documents. A single regulatory reference was worked out, information which became mandatory for working in the system.

To obtain consolidated reports, a single base was organized at the level of the parent company, into which documents are uploaded in a single format from bakery chain stores daily according to the regulations. Warehouse accounting processes and production processes are built and automated directly in stores. The stages of production processes are reflected in the system, which allows you to plan the volume of production and forecast revenue.

Since the chosen solution is complex, it was possible to automatically calculate the cost and price of products, and it also became possible to quickly change the price depending on the time of production.

The management of the enterprise has received a tool for analytics of reporting and planning, and it is the fact that the data are relevant and timely.

Special attention is paid to staff training, as processes have changed and functions have been redistributed. The training was carried out on a real adapted system according to the developed role instructions.

Results

  • Functional "Dalion. Trend "is used by specialists of the bakery chain in full. Not only commodity, but also financial, the accounting of mutual settlements is kept in "Dalion. Trend. "
  • Organization of transparent and reliable accounting of food products in warehouses and production shops, up to the issue of food products.
  • Provision of the possibility of prompt entry of costs for the enterprise in the context of bakeries, and in case of impossibility - combined in the enterprise with further distribution for each bakery. Analysis of revenue, cross-country capacity, costs and estimation of profitability of each bakery.
  • Increase the profitability of bakeries and enterprises as a whole by 10%.
  • Acceleration of reporting - 3 times, due to a single information database.
  • Reduction of the baker's order processing time by 10%.
  • Increase the turnover of bakeries - 1.2 times.
