DISS company completed the project of equipment of the International airport Donetsk by the flexible, scalable, intellectual network platform on the basis of solutions of Cisco.

Solution

The local computer network is expected connection more than 4 thousand ports of access. The kernel level of network is implemented based on series 6500 Cisco switches Catalyst. For reliability assurance and availability of network switches of a core were united in the virtual chassis using VSS technology. Besides, the technology of ensuring continuity of transfer of traffic of the NSF/SSO family optimized for processing of both single-address (unicast), and multi-address (multicast) traffic was used.

For providing a steady Wi-Fi-covering in the building of air terminal and in the adjacent territory 120 access points of Cisco Aironet 3502E and Cisco Aironet 1522AG are set.

"Access points support standards 802.11a, 802.11g, 802.11n that gives the chance to provide high-speed connection of a large number of users. For centralized operation the wireless network uses the Cisco Wireless Control System system. Access points and the controller of a wireless network support Cisco CleanAir technology which allows to perform fast detection of radio interferences and the subsequent optimization of a coverage of a wireless network. Safety of wireless networks is ensured by means of the Cisco Mobility Services Engine device together with the access points working in the monitoring mode", – the Head of Department of corporate solutions of DISS company Dmitry Krivoruchko tells.

The system of telephone communication providing a high-quality voice communication between certain premises of air terminal and also exit in a city public telephone network are constructed based on the platform of unified communications Cisco. Call processing is performed using the Cisco Unified Communication Manager 8.0 system. The integrated solution of Cisco Contact Center Express is applied to effective management of contacts of clients. In addition to use of digital IP phones, the connectivity of analog telephone sets is provided in a system what the gateway Cisco VG224 is used to.

The solution Cisco Digital Media Signage is in real time applied to removal of the multimedia information on monitors. For its implementation more than 200 digital Cisco Digital Media Player mediaplayers of series 4000 and the Cisco Professional LCD monitors with diagonal 32", 40" and 52 were used". Uniform management of players and change of parameters of providing content is performed by means of the Cisco Digital Media Manager component.
