2021: Improving the roads of the Saratov region with the solutions of PTV Group and Schlothauer & Wauer

On October 27, 2021, Simetra, specializing in modeling traffic flows and transport planning, equipped the design and research organization DorTeKproekt +, which is part of the Modern Road Technologies Group of Companies (SDT Group of Companies) with software from PTV Group and Schlothauer & Wauer, and is engaged in the survey of roads and art.

DorTech Project + received licenses for PTV Visum, PTV Vissim and LISA + software products.

PTV Visum and PTV Vissim allow you to predict and model flows at micro and macro levels. The PTV Visum software solution is designed for long-term transport planning, passenger traffic forecast, assessment of the integrated transport effect from the implementation of various measures at the level of the city, region and country.

PTV Vissim helps you evaluate the efficiency of traffic management, traffic light regulation at intersections and complex interchange nodes, assessing their impact on the capacity of nodes. Both software products were developed by the German company PTV Group. Simetra has been an official partner of PTV Group in Russia and the CIS since 2004.

LISA + software, in turn, helps optimize traffic light control, depending on the intensity of traffic flows, develop signal coordination plans, and evaluate the level of service.
