2025: Completion of the implementation of the mobile crawler system "Akron. Crawler for repair services "
PJSC Dorogobuzh has completed the introduction of the Akron mobile crawler system. Workover for repair services "in the Instrumentation and Instrumentation service of the weak nitric acid shop. The system provides operational monitoring of equipment in production. This was announced by the Akron Group on April 7, 2025.
Project "Akron. Crawler for repair services "was developed by IT specialists in conjunction with the Advanced Engineering School (PISH) of Novgorod State University.
The main goal of the implementation of the system is to speed up and simplify the daily functions of the repair personnel of the instrumentation services for equipment maintenance. The implemented solution provides automation of the transmission of collected data, the ability to store and process it in a single system, as well as operational control and analysis of the current state of the equipment. Also, the company's specialists fully integrated the crawler with the ERP of the enterprise - ISA.
The mobile crawler allows you to automate the processes of recording the results of the bypass, monitoring the state of the equipment and fixing the detected defects at the site of work. Thanks to this, it is possible to effectively organize the work of personnel, promptly take measures in the event of defects and generate reports, noted Denis Sushko, chief instrumentalist of PJSC Dorogobuzh.

2024: Scaling a mobile solution for nitric acid production
The Akron Group continues to introduce a mobile solution for operational monitoring of industrial equipment in PJSC Dorogobuzh (Smolensk Region) - this time the solution is scaled up for the production of nitric acid. Akron announced this on March 13, 2024.
The mobile application, the users of which are employees of repair and operational services of subdivisions, makes it possible to quickly collect, store and process data based on the results of periodic bypasses of equipment. The application works both online and offline. The digital solution allows you to automate the transfer of the collected data array, ensure its storage and processing within a single system, operational control and analysis of the current state of technological equipment.
The use of NFC tags on industrial equipment reduces bypass times and increases data accuracy, which increases the efficiency of operating personnel and allows timely detection of defects in equipment and technical devices. Which, in turn, increases the stability and reliability of the equipment, ensuring a high level of industrial safety.
Specialists of the information technology department and employees of the technological divisions of PJSC Dorogobuzh took part in the scaling of the Mobile Crawler system (installation and adjustment of equipment, adjustment of the automation system and training of personnel). As of March 2024, about 600 NFC tags were installed on the production equipment for the application. There are 33 terminals in operation, which are used by more than 150 specialists of departments. For bypassing, equipment manufactured by Zebra and M3 Mobile is used.
The "mobile crawler" performed well in the production of ammonia at PJSC Dorogobuzh, so the logical step was the decision to subsequently scale it to the main divisions of the enterprise, - said Romanus Dmitriyev, Executive Director of PJSC Dorogobuzh. - Along with the production of nitric acid, the Mobile Crawler system has found use in the workshops for the production of ammonium nitrate and nitroammophosks of PJSC Dorogobuzh. Its further implementation in the technological divisions will continue. |
2020: Introduction of the "Mobile Crawler" in "Dorogobuzh"
Akron Group, one of the producers of mineral fertilizers in Russia and the world, has introduced a mobile solution for operational monitoring of equipment at its ammonia production in PJSC Dorogobuzh (Smolensk Region). This was announced on September 9, 2020 by Akron.
The mobile application for employees of repair and operational services allows you to quickly collect, store and process data based on the results of equipment bypasses and repair tasks for troubleshooting. The solution provides automation of the transmission of collected data, the ability to store and process it in a single system, as well as operational control and analysis of the current state of the equipment.
The use of NFC tags on equipment has reduced bypass times and improved data reliability. As of September 2020, the number of users of the application is almost 60 people. Most use Zebra equipment. The application works both online and offline.
"Mobile crawler" has proven itself well in the production of ammonia in Veliky Novgorod. Therefore, the decision to scale it was a logical step in the framework of the Akron Group's digital transformation strategy. These products provide additional business benefits by reducing labor costs and improving control. |
According to Romana Dmitriyeva, chief engineer of PJSC Dorogobuzh, this decision will lead to an increase in the efficiency of operation personnel and will allow detecting defects in equipment and technical devices in the early stages.
The application is a joint development of specialists from the Akron IT department and Fingers Media.
