Rostelecom provided communication services to the perinatal center in Dzerzhinsk

June 09, 2015. The Rostelecom company reported^[1] about ensuring telecommunication services to the perinatal center in Dzerzhinsk of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

A number of hi-tech services on the basis of fiber optic technologies is rendered to modern medical institution: the virtual VPN private network is created (VPN, Virtual Private Network), high-speed Internet access is provided, the digital telephony on 30 numbers is organized.

VPN of the perinatal center is connected to a workplace of the Regional information system of monitoring of obstetric aid (RISAR) allowing to trace information on pregnancy registration, primary surveys, determination of group of pregnancy on a risk degree. Having connected to RISAR, the doctor plans all stages of process of conducting pregnancy.

According to requirements of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for GO, emergency and natural disaster response Rostelecom organized a radiofikation of the building of the perinatal center on the basis of fiber optic communication lines. Thanks to the warning system created by provider in case of occurrence of extreme situations the warning signal will be broadcast on radio.

"The range of services, provided to the client by Rostelecom company, will allow to provide a high-quality communication and information protection of activity of organization according to world requirements and standards. The organization of the most operational information exchange, conducting document flow, safety of storage of databases of patients are also provided" — the director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of Rostelecom Mikhail Ivanov reported.
