In hospitals there were robots of LG transporting 15 kg of loads

At the end of October, 2020 in two South Korean hospitals there were independent servicing robots developed by LG Electronics for transportation of medical samples, prescription drugs and diagnostic reagents. The Shkafopodobny robot with three compartments received the name CLoi ServeBot.

The robot is issued in two options: with drawers and with the shelf. In hospitals the version with drawers was unrolled. LG notes that this option is suitable for hospitals, hotels and offices as its sizes are 50x50x130 cm, and in three boxes it is possible to place up to 15 kg of goods. Boxes are supplied with security locks, and operators can also monitor movements of the robot, set the diagram of its movement and browse the history of use. At the same time the robot can move both along corridors, and in elevators between floors.

In hospitals of South Korea there were CLoi ServeBot robots from LG transporting 15 kg of loads

On two CLoi ServeBot robots began to use in laboratory of the medical researches EONE Laboratories in the city of Incheon and in the National oncological center in the city of Goyang. Reported to LG that in laboratory robots will transport samples of patients and reactants approximately between 13 locations. In the oncological center robots generally move between departments of diagnostics and therapy.

CLoi robots can help medical personnel to increase efficiency of the work, having undertaken routine work, - the head of business center LG of the Rho considers CEO Gin (Roh Jin-seo). - CLoi will be able to provide different types of services and is capable to move freely between floors.

It is supposed that the servicing robots in the medical centers and multi-purpose organizations, such as nursing homes are most demanded. In the conditions of a pandemic also the robotic workflow minimizing contact with people is of particular importance.[1]
