2020: Transition to a centralized system of accounting on OSBU

On February 11, 2020 the Homnet company announced project completion of transition to a centralized system of accounting on OSBU based on "HOMNET:NFO" in JSC ERV Turisticheskoye Strakhovaniye.

To the project the Customer kept account in two systems, one of which was developed by the Czech parent company "ELVORIS" for insurance and management accounting, and the second – the system of accounting on OSBU developed by third-party vendor on the domestic platform.

JSC ERV Turisticheskoye Strakhovaniye had several reasons proceeding from which, the decision on implementation of other accounting accounting system was made. First, did not satisfy quality of support, there was no quick reaction from vendor on addresses of the Customer; secondly, frequent releases (release of updates) after which in a system there were failures in processes and transactions; and thirdly, in what the main lack of the used accounting system consisted, there was no possibility of automatic collecting of the reporting. Thus, the employee of insurance company had to collect manually data on accounting (financial) and supervising and statistical forms for the subsequent submission of reports that took a lot of time and was followed by high risk of assumption of errors.

At an installation meeting specialists of Homnet Group showed functionality of the HOMNET:NFO software product - an accounting system on EPS on OSBU. One of advantages of the program that was noted for themselves by participants of a meeting from the Customer, this existence of the automated tax accounting which in the used system was not configured and it was not used, employees "ERV Travel Insurance" kept tax accounting manually in Excel-files. Also the staff of insurance company found other program capabilities allowing to automate completely processes, connected with preparation of industry and accounting records for themselves attractive.

According to the results of a meeting the insurance company defined for itself that a system completely satisfies them, but there was one nuance which required presence at vendor except the system, experienced developers. It was necessary to develop the add-on module to a system for settlement with agents and also for interaction with the program of settlement of losses. For this purpose specialists of Homnet Group conducted examination and as a result created the relevant offer within which the vendor had to develop, test and bring at the scheduled time the module into trial operation.

Except optimal terms and relevant project cost, Homnet Group guaranteed to implement transition most smoothly, without breaking the current business processes of the company. Thus, the project was supposed to be executed in two stages.

The first stage specialists of Homnet Group implemented the mechanism of data collection in the used accounting system in order that already at the initial stage of the project the Customer "by the button" could collect a part of indicators from the insurance system for the subsequent submission of reports. And the second stage a project team of Homnet Group executed reimplementation, i.e. complete transition to "HOMNET:NFO" with the module on settlement. Here the large volume of work was executed on formation of a remaining balance and transfer of turnovers for 2019 of the inherited system of the Customer in "HOMNET:NFO".

As a result of the actions executed on the project in insurance company JSC ERV Turisticheskoye Strakhovaniye the centralized system of accounting on EPS and preparation of the reporting under OSBU based on the solution "HOMNET:NFO" and specially developed module on settlement with agents and interactions with the program of settlement of losses is constructed and delivered on support.

Thanks to trained and to the clear interface employees "ERV Travel Insurance" easily adapted to work in "HOMNET:NFO". For February, 2020 specialists of Homnet Group continue to give consulting support to the Customer's employees on technical and methodical issues within the agreement of maintenance.
