On August 28, 2019 the Elar company reported that in the East Siberian state institute of culture the planetary scanner of ELARSKAN A2-400P thanks to which not only planned digitization of library stocks, but also the old musical editions which are of special value became possible is delivered.

The east Siberian state institute of culture founded in 1960 as the third higher educational institution of culture in the country for August, 2019 is the leading educational and innovation complex in the east of Russia in the field of training for the sphere of culture and art; the cross-border center in the field of research and creative activity with the countries of the Pacific Rim.

The scientific library of organization contains more than 500 thousand copies and is one of the leading structural divisions of institute. In 2018 it was visited by 59516 readers. The library stores, in particular, the richest musical and musical collections as a part of which rare editions of scores, claviers; a meeting of the illustrated albums on painting, graphics, architecture. In scientific library FSBEI VO VSGIK planned digitization of library stocks, digitization of printing editions according to requests of teachers is performed.
