Evraz integrated data on 6500 real estate based on SAP

2020: Process automation of real estate administration and the land plots based on SAP Real Estate Management

On June 8, 2020 the EVRAZ company reported that it automated processes of management of the real estate and the land plots based on SAP Real Estate Management. A system integrated data on 6500 real estate and production assets of EVRAZ. With its help for June, 2020 updating of technical and legal information about 780 objects is carried out, and at the expense of uniform storage of documentation in electronic form employees save 60 hours a month on analytics. According to the company, the organizational scope of the project included EvrazHolding LLC, JSC EVRAZ West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant and managed companies of Raspadskaya Coal Company LLC. The created system allows to keep uniform base, account and real estate administration and the land plots and also provides direct access to up-to-date information about a status of a land and property complex of EVRAZ. Using the solution the company cut down operating expenses and time for monthly analytics on the real estate.

The IT tool is integrated with corporate systems of accounting, tax and management accounting based on SAP ERP. In a system integration into data on the carried-out capital construction and into the public cadastral map of Rosreestr is also configured. Feature of a system also is that uniform algorithms of calculation of the rent for the land plots and land tax corresponding to the Russian legislation allow to exclude risks of incorrect calculations.

In the future EVRAZ is going to carry out inventory and assessment of a real estate based on a system. The project team considers integration with the different external cartographic systems and also replication on other enterprises of EVRAZ.

The project was implemented in short terms and with the minimum labor costs due to the choice of the set-up solution based on the module RE-FX using standard opportunities. The prototype of the solution was provided at the first stages of implementation thanks to what requirements of the customer were accurately formulated.
