2019: Distribution of a system of a biometric time recording

On September 5, 2019 the M of Video Eldorado group reported that it extended the system of accounting of working time of personnel based on biometrics, on retail network "By Eldorado in M.Video the biometrics is used since 2017. By estimates of the retailer, the complex product of the Russian startup of VERME on planning and a biometric time recording, allows to increase motivation and employee performance of retail, having reduced at the same time costs of wage fund for 2.5%.

The system of a biometric time recording on the basis of scanning face is installed for September, 2019 in 477 shops of Eldorado network. The technology of work of biometrics is rather simple, the solution is from the device with the touch screen and the software integrated with the IT system of the retailer. Coming or leaving work, the employee needs to approach the device and to select one of actions: "Arrival" or Leaving. The infrared camera will recognize a human face, makes sure that it is not the paper or digital photo and registers start time and the ends of change. Then these data are automatically compared to the planned diagram and create the sheet of a time recording. The similar product is applied in all shops "M.Video" since 2017. Photography was selected among several biometric formats as the most comfortable for employees. More than 25,000 retail employees of both networks use biometrics.

The biometrics expanded earlier implemented both in Eldorado, and in M.Video the product VERME on automation of planning of working schedules. So, for each of shops of Group the daily need for personnel taking into account seasonality, geographic location, the planned sales level, service, promo and shares of shipment at own expense of online orders is calculated. The aggregate effect from schedule system of diagrams and biometric accounting of VERME in Eldorado is estimated at 2.5% of economy of FOT.

The biometrics allows us to increase efficiency of retail and loyalty of employees, first, due to automation – errors are excluded, the transparency of payments increases, more time for accomplishment of direct duties appears. Biometric accounting will allow to minimize errors at salary accrual, to increase transparency of this process and, as a result, loyalty of employees. This solution can raise the overall level of discipline, minimize delay and processings, supporting optimal load of personnel during the working day and saving the high level of service for buyers.

At implementation of automatic planning of diagrams proceeding from the set level of service, a point of control is biometric accounting. The biometrics increases discipline of personnel as the salary is paid for actually worked time according to diagrams. 2018: Verme implementation

On July 13, 2018 it became known that since August 1, 2018 all shops of Eldorado network will begin to use the system of thrifty planning of diagrams Verme. With its help managers of the company will build diagrams of employees in one format with tracking of uniform metrics of efficiency.

Use of Workforce Management of systems in work of networks allows to distribute and plan working time of employees most effectively.
