ВЭБ.РФ January 19, 2023, he announced that he had provided the first funds for the supply of electric trains for the Moscow central diameters.
In total, it is planned to supply 18 electric trains EP2D and 2 trains "Oriole 3.0" for transportation. The participation of ВЭБ.РФ in the deal will make it possible to continue updating the rolling stock of the Central Suburban Passenger Company (CPPK), which is involved in the routes of the Moscow transport hub and make travel more comfortable for millions of people.
ВЭБ.РФ has been participating in the implementation of a large comprehensive program for updating the rolling stock of the CPPK for several years. CPPK electric trains run daily in 9 suburban directions, including MTsD-1 and MTsD-2. Earlier, with the support of ВЭБ.РФ, CPPK leased 45 electric trains (EP2D) and 3 Orlan rail buses. JSC "State Transport Leasing Company" (GTLK) became the winner of tenders for the supply of CPPK 20 electric trains for MCD.
Eleven-car electric trains EP2D manufactured by the Demikhovsky Machine-Building Plant (part of Transmashholding) meet all the comfort requirements: they have soft seats with USB connectors for charging mobile devices, climate control systems with air disinfection function, wireless Wi-Fi network, additional handrails for standing passengers and cycling. The EP2D are also fully adapted for disabled passengers: the head cars have folding ramps, wheelchair mounts and spacious toilet rooms.
Oriole 3.0 (EGE2) was created by Russian designers TMX Engineering on a domestic component base. This is the first electric train with a structural speed of 160 km/h, which is fully designed and manufactured in Russia at the Tver Carriage Building Plant (part of Transmashholding). The technical solutions used in the design of the 11-car electric train ensure a smooth train, low noise level. In each chair unit there are charges, the head car has the possibility of installing a station for recharging electric scooters and a place for bicycles.
2021: Purchase of electric trains for 392 billion rubles
At the end of November 2021, Transmashholding (TMH) won a tender for the supply and maintenance of electric trains for Moscow central diameters (MTsD-3 and MCD-4). The amount of the contract is 392 billion rubles.
The competition was divided into two lots. The first involves the supply of 25 two-door electric trains (only four doors from both ends of the car) for 103.2 billion rubles. This cost includes service for 66.4 billion rubles. The second lot provides for the supply of 70 three-door electric trains (a total of six doors, respectively) for 292 billion rubles, including a service of 186.3 billion.
The contract for the first 25 trains with two-door cars implies that the trains will be handed over to the customer between May and December 2022. Only one application was submitted for the first lot - from the Tver Carriage Building Plant (TVZ, part of TMH). She fully met all the requirements of the documentation and won on the principle of a single participant. As a result, the price remained the starting price. For the second lot, applications were received from TMX, and Sinara - Transport Vehicles (STM). During the competition, the price of the lot decreased to 289.2 billion rubles. The winner was TMH. STM offered 292 billion rubles.
A representative of Sinar - Transport Machines told RBC that the company does not plan to challenge the results of the competition.
