Elektroshchit-TM Samara upgraded the system of conference calls

On May 26, 2015 the AMT Group company announced project completion of creation of a system of conference calls in Elektroshchit Group — TM Samara Ltd. At the heart of a system the solution IP Forum.

Project Tasks

Need of the regular operational meetings with the automated collecting of participants created requirements to system implementation of conference calls in the company. Integration with a corporate telephone network "Elektroshchit Group - TM Samara" was required.

Before IP Forum implementation telephone meetings in "Elektroshchit Group - TM Samara" were organized by means of UPATS of Avaya by means of manual dialing to participants, their connection to a meeting by the employee, the acting as the operator. Growth of number of participants of such meetings began to affect negatively, both efficiency of collecting of meetings, and an ability to manage and control over their carrying out. In particular, the lack of a subsystem of record did not give the chance of information analysis discussed by participants during the meetings.

In "Elektroshchit Group - TM Samara" sharply rose a task - in short terms to organize the modern system of selector communication. For reduction of time and resources in the solution of this task, specialists of AMT Group suggested to use as infrastructure as the available corporate telephone exchange of Avaya with its phones as subscriber devices, and the operating system of virtualization of a server framework for functioning of software of a system.

Project Progress

Implementing solution did not involve costs, in addition to acquisition of the licenses softwares IP FORUM. As a part of solution components of IP FORUM:

• server of management of conferences,
• operator console of conferences,
• console of the system administrator,
• subsystem of record and journalizing of meetings.

The last provides a possibility of storage of all events of a meeting generated by participants (it was connected, asked words, acted, was disconnected, etc.), at the same time remain, both the general mikshirovanny audio recording of a meeting, and component audio recordings of each performance.

Distinctive feature of the solution, in comparison with method of collecting of conferences by means of the normal telephone set - existence of the operator console of a system doing process of management of meetings simple and visual. The layout of a button field of the panel is specially created so that at any number of participants of the meeting their status was visually visualized and immediately drew the attention of the operator in case of need of his intervention.

For planning of carrying out conference calls an opportunity to make the schedule according to which a system automatically will ring round subscribers at the appointed time is provided in the solution.

Project Results

For May 26, 2015 used in "Elektroshchit Group - TM Samara" a system will help to organize at the same time several conference calls with the total number of participants up to 50. At the same time possibilities of IP FORUM will allow to increase the number of subscribers up to 1 thousand simple change of settings of a system of virtualization, without replacement of any hardware components.
