The company of the Elvis taxi completed implementation of the software solution Infinity Taxi.
Task
In 2011 the company management of Elvis made the decision - to pass from the old mode of work on cell phones, radio sets and paper carriers to the new system based on modern IT solutions. In general, the management wanted to automate booking processes, to have an opportunity to see complete statistics on dispatching office and also to have tools for more competent and individual work with each client.
"Selecting the program, we considered about 5 options. Price relation and product qualities was the main criterion, - Elena Kudrova, the head of the ELVIS taxi tells - At that time we not absolutely represented that else we can receive from the program, except process automation therefore we conducted about two months negotiations with different suppliers, specified parts, penetrated into all advantages. As a result stopped on Infinity TAXI".
Solution
In installation process and debuggings of the program there was a number of objective difficulties (absence in the city of Ust-Ilimsk of specialists of due level and a difference with Moscow at 5 o'clock).
According to Kudrova, before implementation of the program the management did not represent at all how to control workflows and, without having the present possibility, worked actually blindly. The only digits which were really available this number of orders and the amount, all the rest did not give in to control at all. Also, because responsibility for acceptance and execution of orders lay completely on the manager, the management had no opportunity to productively resolve problematic issues with clients as did not see a reliable picture. The similar situation was also with drivers. Today problems of this sort in the Elvis taxi do not exist any more.
