Embafinans displays IT infrastructure in "cloud"

On October 1, 2013 the ActiveCloud by Softline company announced project completion of works on transfer in "cloud" of IT infrastructure and business applications of Embafinans company.

Project Objectives

Business development of credit institution demanded corresponding to the highest service rate of clients there is development of IT infrastructure of the company.

Project Progress

Solving this problem, at the beginning of 2013 the company started planning of transition to the new automation system of process of crediting. Implementation required building of infrastructure opportunities:

• construction and equipment of the new server premises,
• purchases of the modern equipment.

Analyzing the volume of expected works (construction, providing power supply, installation of conditioning systems, purchase of servers and the licensed software), estimating costs, including project deadlines, expansion of the staff of IT specialists, etc., the management of Embafinans made the decision – to take out IT infrastructure in "cloud". The company conducted a research of the market of proposals of the leading "cloud" providers.

The provider of cloud-service was determined by two criteria: price and quality, support level. The offer of ActiveCloud by Softline was the most interesting, both on the first, and on the second point.

Project Result

Upon project completion, IT infrastructure of Embafinans is placed on two geographically independent "cloud" platforms ActiveCloud by Softline used for work of a modern credit system of Softgenic Loan Workbench in different parts of Europe. First "cloud" - the basic, in it is located a credit system of the company, SQL and the Web server. The second is used for backup copies.
