Emerson Russia passed to Accounting 3.0 using First BIT

October 13, 2015. The integrator of IT solutions for accounting and management First BIT announced updating of Enterprise accounting to configuration 3.0 in the Russian division of Emerson Process Management. Specialists of integrator implemented the 1C: Enterprise Accounting 8 system in Emerson Process Management and adapted it for unique requirements of the customer.

Project Progress

Earlier in the Russian divisions of the company the 1C: Enterprise Accounting 7.7 software product which it was seriously reconfigured was used – it is rewritten for the purposes at the same time and regulated, and management accounting. For other divisions of Emerson the possibility of data loading from the third-party JDE system (Oracle) in the form of manual postings (the accounting references) was implemented. At the same time the regulated reporting was prepared generally in Microsoft Excel as the configuration of version 7.7 became strongly outdated and did not consider last modifications of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Specialists of the First BIT implemented the version of the 1C: Enterprise Accounting 8 configuration considering all last modifications in the legislation of the Russian Federation on accounting and preparation of the regulated reporting. In only eight months the large-scale project consisting of stages was executed: "Modeling", Design, Development, Implementation and "Trial operation".

Also the First BIT again developed data transfer from JDE taking into account specifics "1C: Enterprise Accounting 8" with loading of postings in the corresponding document types and implemented the mechanism of currency exchange control.

Currently in a system about 100 employees of Emerson Process Management from departments of accounting, logistics and foreign economic activity work. Daily about 300 documents are entered into a system, and the quantity of fixed assets according to the sheet of depreciation is 1038, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

Development Plans

Perspectives of scaling and connection of new users with different functional duties without big costs are provided in architecture of the implemented solution. Further the customer is going to automate processes of project and management accounting.

For example, in an old system additional expenses were incorrectly considered, they could be seen only when closing month, and the goods were not displayed. The base is updated quarterly, and all innovations in the legislation are considered".
