Energizer (Autodesk Vault)

The Autodesk company, announces that Energizer Holdings, Inc. (Energizer) is the producer widely famous in the market thanks to such recognizable and firmly to the fixed brands as Energizer batteries and lamps of Eveready, – implements the program for Autodesk Vault data management that it is more effective to operate with project and production information. Vault will replace the Siemens Teamcenter system which was earlier used in Energizer company.

Energizer is multinational corporation which annual sales volume is 4.3 billion US dollars. It makes a broad spectrum of consumer goods – batteries, lamps, charging USB devices for mobile phones and many other things. Vault will be implemented in 12 Energizer branches in the different countries of the world that will allow to connect design processes of products, planning and production management. A huge great number of users – from leading specialists on production organization to mechanics of production lines – will get quick, direct and secure access to the basic design and production data. Growth of company performance and process optimization of release of the innovation products should become result of all this.

Forced idle times at repair and hardware upgrade are minimized that provides us uninterrupted operation of business processes".

The key role in the solution Energizer on transition to Vault was played by compatibility with technology of digital prototypes of Autodesk. Equipment design in Energizer company begins with creation of the general scheme of production and development of special requirements to the equipment. Then in Autodesk Inventor digital prototypes are created; usually at the same time 2D - and 3D - data of a CAD are combined with information from suppliers. Close integration of Vault and Inventor simplifies management of design and production data that provides the high accuracy, saving of time and means.
