2023: Automation of MRO management processes at remote gas turbine power plants

The main activity of Energo Service JSC is the production of electricity and the operation of gas turbine power plants (gas turbine power plants) in oil fields. In 2023, Desnol Soft, developer and integrator 1C: TOIR CORP, completed a project to automate MRO management processes. The peculiarity of the project is the simultaneous launch of the EAM system at the pilot and circulation sites. The pilot facility was the gas turbine power plant 24 of the Igolsko-Talovoye oil field, circulation sites - the gas turbine power plant 12 of the Igolsko-Talovoye and gas turbine power plant 24 of the Dvurechensky oil fields.

20 workplaces were automated. 6310 repair objects were included in the KORP 1S:TOIR, more than 2000 documents were created.

By implementing the KORP 1S:TOIR, the company gained operational access to information about the main equipment, technical documentation and service history. The company operates a transparent accounting system for maintenance and repairs. Statistics on operating time, defects and downtime of units and installations are maintained. A mechanism for automatic calculation and adjustment of WEP schedules was created, which significantly reduced the time of specialists to update the data.

Automation results

  1. Employees of Energo Service received prompt access to information about the main equipment, technical documentation and service history. An electronic database of equipment and standards has been formed, which contains the correct hierarchy, information about equipment and technical documentation. This significantly saves the time of engineers and heads of departments located in a location remote from production sites.
  2. Statistics are maintained to analyze the causes of defects and malfunctions. The collection of statistics on the indicators of equipment operation, defects, equipment downtime, repair work carried out to eliminate defects allows improving the maintenance MRO management, collecting information for further analysis and reducing the risks of equipment failure.
  3. Maintenance and repair works performed are recorded. All works on the main equipment are recorded and closed by the certificates on the performance of the work stage, which also indicate the consumed materials and used tools.
  4. Planfact analysis is performed. Energo Service specialists were able not only to quickly make management decisions, but also to plan repair work on the basis of objective data on the state of the equipment and a planning and factual analysis of the work performed.
  5. There was operational access to information about responsible performers. If earlier, to determine those responsible for repairs, it was necessary to raise paper logs and correspondence in the mail, now the responsible and performers of repair work are indicated directly in the system documents.
  6. You have created a mechanism for automatic calculation and adjustment of WEP schedules. Previously, general WEP schedules were maintained in Excel, which required a lot of time to update the data. Now the company's specialists use a convenient tool for automatic calculation and adjustment of schedules, taking into account the actual operating time and unscheduled repairs. WEP schedules are formed by specialists of the PTD department and are subsequently used by production units.

The economic effect of the automation project implemented by Desnol Soft:

  • 15% reduction in labor costs in departments
  • The labour intensity of equipment planning and repair, resource planning decreased by 65%
  • By 25% reduced labor costs in departments to search for information on the composition of equipment and the history of its repairs
  • The time for selecting and searching for information on the repairs and their cost was reduced by 20%
  • The time (duration) of equipment repairs was reduced by 26%
  • Operating and administrative expenses decreased by 10%
  • Management reporting accelerated by 25%
  • By 25% reduced labor costs in departments to search for information on the composition of equipment and passport data

The main thing that the joint project with Desnol Soft gave us is to save time on communication, the ability to store the history of equipment maintenance and solve the problem of access to operational information due to the location of production sites remote from the office. The second point is the ability to use uniform templates of documents and formulations that allow you to quickly search and analyze information, "said Fidan Kuvandykov, head of the production and technical department of Energo Service JSC.
