On July 18, 2018 the Armex company announced system implementation "1C: Small Business Management 8 Polygraphy 2" in "The polygraphic Esma-Print complex.
Prerequisites
The printing house executes about 15-20 orders a day, from 300 to 400 - in a month. Rather impressive volume of versatile orders for printing house, average on power, did not allow the management of the enterprise to control productive activity quickly: plan and monitor in real time accomplishment of technology transactions and loading of the equipment, to control a remaining balance of materials in warehouses. There was no opportunity timely and precisely to estimate financial results of activity of the enterprise.
Project Objectives
In the company there was a need for an information system which would allow to normalize calculation of orders, to improve planning and to strengthen control of their accomplishment in production, to increase the accuracy of cost accounting of each technology transaction and cost value of release in general. In an analysis result of competitive environment the management of printing house stopped the choice on the automation system "1C: Small Business Management 8. Polygraphy 2" which is developed taking into account industry specifics of the polygraphic enterprises. The Armex company became the partner in implementation.
Project Results
The main project deliverables according to the results of work in a system within three months:
- Calculation of simple and difficult orders is automated. Regulation of all technology operations on time and cost was for this purpose carried out. Work of managers on processing of incoming requests became quicker and more simply, time of approvals was reduced. It allowed to process more client calls and requests, as a result the total quantity of the entering orders grew by 20%.
- Operating control behind passing of orders at all production phases is organized: in real time in a system all technology processes - production of forms, products printing, postprinting finishing - and all this with detailing by specific orders are displayed. Each employee notes the beginning of accomplishment of transaction and completion of work in the program. Except convenience and constant control for employees, it gave understanding of real loading of each work center, each item of equipment and each operator. As a result the management can accurately manage loading of printing house and is flexible plan a priority of accomplishment of orders. Deadlines of accomplishment of orders are practically not skirted, failures and force majeurs manage to be avoided, the customer loyalty raised.
- Automated management of warehouse stocks. Economists of planning department of printing house and the CEO always know about actual balances in a warehouse of paper and supplies, see as on what orders it is reserved and can estimate need of replenishment of a warehouse. It helps to avoid failures of orders because of absence or the shortage of materials and it is rational to plan loading of the equipment. The regularity of loading of production increased, production began to work more steadily.
- Use of standard CRM mechanisms "1C: Small Business Management 8. Polygraphy 2" allowed managers, economists and heads of a message all documentation with clients in electronic form: create documents and agreements, to process requests and orders, to make out bills, to nestle close and send e-mail. It saved personnel from monotonous and routine work, any employee with the appropriate rights of access can browse all client history which is stored in uniform information base "1C".
- In a system managerial reports with different extent of detailing quickly form. One of the most demanded reports is an expanded analysis of product cost. It helps to control all planned and actual costs on production of each unit of production. As a result both the negative, and positive variance from planned targets and their influence on profitability of orders is visible. It helps to manage effectively costs and to liquidate bottlenecks in a production chain. For example, in printing house replaced inefficient and with low quotations handworks in binding workshop with the productive equipment, and transferred employees to other transactions. As a result labor productivity increased, and the general profit of printing house for the first quarter of use of a system grew by 7%.
"System "1C: Small Business Management 8. The polygraphy 2" helped to solve the main task: at any moment it is possible to come into the program, to create the necessary report and to look at it. And at any moment up-to-date information is reflected in this report. A system gives an opportunity of a deep financial analysis. For example, quarterly we together with the staff of economical department analyze all indicators of work by cost value of orders with detailing on transactions, the equipment and time of their accomplishment.
