At the end of April, 2019 the national airline United Arab Emirates Etihad Airways implemented automatic monitoring of runs for improvement of quality of passenger traffic.

Etihad Airways uses iFlight NEO software from IBS Software Services developer which was selected for replacement of the existing network management system of airline. The IBS Software company is also engaged in development of the system of management of the airport in Abu Dhabi which will allow the staff of airline to pass from manual processes to intuitive technologies and to integrate the innovative developments. New software will interact with other business systems for automation of workflows.

The software will help airline to control more effectively aircrafts and to monitor runs in real time, in time revealing potential problems. In the future the solutions IBS will help Etihad to minimize time of joining of passengers that is very important for airline which opens the new terminal at the airport of Abu Dhabi where it is based.

The software helping operators to make decisions in real time allows the industry of air transportation to increase efficiency in process of growth of number of passengers. For example, the analytical software is capable to predict delays of a departure of airplanes in three hours and can send notifications to passengers.

Etihad Airways not for the first time uses digital technologies for service quality improvement. In October, 2015 the airline signed the 10-year agreement for the amount of $700 million with IBM for use of the latest cloud computing and services – creation of a new cloud data processing center in Abu Dhabi became result.[1]
