Evroklimat prefers "cloud" as more IT comfortable environment

The distributor of the climatic equipment "Evroklimat" transferred data processing of the company to a cloud service, implementation of technology was carried out by the staff of ROSINTEGRA (LASNET LLC) company, the press service of the company reported on May 31, 2013.

Background

Within cooperation from the company contractor it was required to provide providing access to corporate applications according to the SaaS model. The major condition - to provide support of critical business applications in a cloud, to increase fault tolerance and scalability of a system.

By the beginning of the IT department project "Evroklimat" formalized a problem and requirements:

• make migration it is most transparent for all users
• execute transition with the minimum involvement in the project of personnel of customer organization
• exclude need to make changes to the existing internal network architecture
• pay special attention to ensuring stable work of peripheral equipment in a cloud (printers, IP scanners, etc.)
• provide in acceptable time reverse migration of services in case of failure.

Alexey Larin, the acting technical director of ROSINTEGRA (LASNET LLC) emphasized: "Problems of system integration of technology resources are familiar to many companies having geographical distribution of offices. Projects on upgrade program and the hardware are usually integrated to heavy expenses. In such cases implementation of cloud computing — effective solution of assigned tasks".

"Earlier everything was stored in head office and all employees had to unite to our server so at any failures in work of "iron" all activity of the company was paralyzed — Konstantin Tsoi, the head of department of information technologies of Evroklimat LLC noted. - During the work in a cloud maintenance expenses of the server hardware decreased, capacities were released and also we should not think of license purity of software any more. The project was difficult, long was implemented, but we were satisfied with result".
