As "The executive directorate of sports projects" carried out IT preparation for the World Cup in water sports

On September 24, 2015 AT Consulting announced creation by request of ANO Executive Directorate of Sports Projects of the official site of the World Cup in water sports, a management system for volunteers and an information security system.

Project Progress

Specialists of AT Consulting created three full solutions for IT support of an action. The kazan2015.com portal functioned without complaints throughout all project, including the peak of attendance during the tournament. Since launch in September, 2014 and before closing of the Championship the number of viewings the portal exceeded 12 million.

Especially for the kazan2015.com portal the contractor wrote the media server for storage of a photo and video, interactive services are developed:

• schedule of actions,
• medal count,
• registration of volunteers.

For operational placement of photos from the arena integration with a system the Championship host agency – IIA Russia Today is executed. The information module for the accredited journalists where biographies of all athletes, news and media content are placed is created. Access to the module was provided to the accredited journalists by the personal password.

Developed a management system for volunteers and its integration into the kazan2015.com portal. In composition:

• registration and verification of requests,
• distribution to actions,
• providing personnel (volunteers, judges, etc.) uniform.

In total on participation in the volunteer program 23,927 requests from residents of Kazan and other cities are registered.

AT Consulting created a security system which main objective — information protection of the main IT resources of a tournament.

Project Results

Using the solutions developed together with AT Consulting we could build competently processes of registration and distribution of volunteers. And the official site which is the business card of a tournament is implemented in advanced functionality taking into account sports specifics.
