FESCO and SKB Kontur will cooperate in the field of electronic document management

2019: Cooperation in the field of e-document flow

On September 6, 2019 the SKB Kontur company reported that together with the transport FESCO group ("FESCO") agreed to cooperate in the field of electronic document management (e-document flow).

Using services of SKB Kontur FESCO is going to develop e-document flow both with clients within the country, and with foreign partners. Document flow between FESCO and partners of the company in China can become a pilot project.

In development of e-document flow within the country FESCO sees one of key tasks implementation of electronic transport documents, in particular, of way bills. Already in the nearest future the companies can start pilot projects on a "paperless" design of cargo delivery. Document flow with partners will be consistently transferred to an electronic format: until the end of 2020 not less than 1000 clients of FESCO will be able to exchange electronic documents with the company.

E-document flow develops since 2012. Electronic invoices became a norm of a business conduct. Now on the agenda other calls are electronic way bills and the international e-document flow. So far it is area of experiments and innovations, but success in this case promises huge benefits and for transport companies, and for all who conduct foreign economic activity, and for economy in general.
