FGC UES (SAP SRM)

In the federal grid company of the unified power system (FGC UES) implementation of a corporate information system for procurement management based on a subsystem of an application package of mySAP Business Suite - mySAP Supplier Relationship Management is begun. Using the new IT tool of FGC UES is going to increase efficiency of purchasing activity and also to cut down expenses and costs, in particular due to process automation of control and execution of contractual commitments. It is supposed that mySAP SRM will cover executive office in Moscow and all branches FGC UES (more than 80 platforms across all Russia). Taking into account that the standard functionality of mySAP SRM provides involvement in process of purchases of all participants of these procedures, including suppliers and sales agents, within further project implementation connection of suppliers of the company to an information system is planned.

According to representatives of the contractor of the project - TopS Business Integrator companies (TopS BI), taking into account importance and complexity of the project, in a command for its accomplishment from integrator are selected the best personnel. Moreover, in view of novelty of mySAP SRM in our country, additional training of a project team was provided by forces of foreign specialists of SAP company.

After a system design in FGC UES automation of procurement procedures is made. Special attention as report in Tops BI is given to control of the regulations existing in the company on the organization and carrying out purchasing activity. Besides, integration with a large number of the systems constructed on different platforms for automation of end-to-end business processes is performed, and for ensuring "seamless" integration of systems the SAP component of NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI) is used.

Subsidiary of RAO UES of Russia - FGC UES is created in 2002 for management of the uniform national power grid (UNPG). The field of activity of FGC UES includes provision of services to subjects of wholesale market of electrical energy on transfer of electrical energy and accession to the electric network; investment activities in the field of development of ENES.
