The Novokashirsky branch FGC UES implements the PS (SCADA) PCS on substation of 500 kV

The RTSoft company put in trial operation the automated process control system of substation (PS PCS) of 500 kV Novokashirskaya, FGC UES branch of JSC of Main Power Networks of the Center.

The project is implemented within expansion and reconstruction of the open distributor (OD) of 500 kV of Kashira GRES - 4.

Solution

The PS PCS of 500 kV Novokashirskaya is intended for ensuring information functions (observation, control, signaling, storage and information transfer) and control functions by electric equipment of substation. A system integrates the different automation equipment of an object in the single information and managing system which is the main means of conducting technology process by operation personnel and providing the required level of reliability and efficiency of operation of the capital equipment in all modes of functioning.

Outputs

Implementation of the PS PCS of 500 kV Novokashirskaya allows to increase reliability of work of a power facility, to increase efficiency of use of the capital equipment of substation, to reduce costs for operational maintenance of the equipment and its management systems, to increase efficiency of information exchange with higher levels of management (CCN of the Center, the Moscow RDU, Main Power Networks of the Center), to reduce number of emergency situations as a result of wrong actions of personnel and to improve working conditions of operational personnel.
