MFI "Excellent Cash" has introduced a system to automate the early collection of overdue debts from individuals FIS Collection. As a result of the project, MFO increased the efficiency of collection, including through intellectually segmented collection strategies, implemented event communications for more accurate implementation of Federal Law No. 230 and integrated the system with telephony, robots and other external services. The FIS announced this on March 6, 2025.

In connection with the general development of the company, we decided to automate collection for effective management of the expired portfolio. Before the FIS Collection, we rarely closed the recovery efficiency plan by 100% - and after implementation every month we consistently exceeded the continuously growing plan, doing 110-115%. In the first year, we increased the efficiency of the collection by more than 30%, but the system can be dispersed more, - said Yulia Yakovleva, head of the methodology and compliance sector, project manager at the Excellent Cash MFO.

By the beginning of 2023, the Excellent Cash MFO introduced the FIS Collection system: together with the FIS team, all employees, communications and portfolio were transferred to the system. From 2023 to 2025, the team of the Skolkovo resident FIS carried out technical support and development of the collection system in MFIs.

The customized project allowed the MFI "Excellent Cash":

  • automate the full cycle of customer service at the long stage of soft collection, from 1 to 150 days of overdue debt (by the beginning of 2025, the combat portfolio includes 60,000 customers and 80,000 contracts);
  • process the overdue debt portfolio in a single window: initially with the help of a diver and robots, and then by MFI employees (during the project, from 30 to 60 MFI employees worked in the system) - with the classification and preservation of all data in one place;
  • intelligently segment clients and define the most effective communication strategies with them for the implementation of relevant logic for filling portfolios;
  • implement the exact number of event communications with clients in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 230 by forming unified registers with parallel collection according to different strategies - this tool helped MFIs to reduce the number of fines and warnings of government agencies by a multiple of times;
  • integrate the system with the internal IT infrastructure of MFIs and external services: with a telephony service, various robots, a service for enriching registers with data and with a telecom operator to send SMS messages to customers.
