The Lanit company (file) began works on creation of a corporate information system based on the SAP ERP system in transport-forwarding company "Far East Transport Group".
The specifics of activity of the company require the accurate organization of business processes and the quickest response to customer requirements, changes of an internal and external situation. Due to the emergence of new types and directions of transportations, development of logistics of terminal processing of loads, construction of new terminals and the general growth of business, the information systems existing in the company ceased to meet the requirements of the company.
Within the project it is going to create a new corporate information system which will help to manage the geographically distributed company, and also to provide strategic development of business.
The first stage of the ERP system is going to be put into operation during 2008. It will cover all main business processes of the company, and also the system of management accounting.
