Far Eastern Energy Company started DPC

On August 13, 2015 the LANITH DV company announced completion of creation of a data processing center by request of Far Eastern Energy Company.

Construction of a data processing center is carried out in two steps.

At the first stage specialists created the project of the engineering systems of DPC and supplied parts of the equipment of conditioning and fire extinguishing. After that specialists of the contractor mounted and set up the equipment of engineering infrastructure of DPC and a system:

• chill air conditioning,
• ventilation,
• gas-smoke removals,
• fire extinguishing,
• the guaranteed and uninterrupted power supply,
• video surveillances,
• security fire warning
• access control,
• control and monitoring of the environment,
• control and monitoring of a hardware and software system of DPC.

At the second stage of construction DEK company reduced capacities and projects of some systems underwent correction, including a local computer network. Structured cabling systems are created.

Upon termination of works specialists of the contractor carried out tests within which they simulated typical emergency situations. Results of tests showed, readiness and security of an industrial environment of DPC of DEK from failures of electric power supply systems, emergency shutdown of the equipment, mechanical damage of network connections and other external factors.

As a part of project works:

• design,
• supply of equipment,
• preparation of the premises
• installation of the systems of uninterrupted power
• commissioning
• testing of the engineering systems of DPC.

In the project developments of leading manufacturers of high-tech solutions and the equipment are used.

Providing high fault tolerance of the DEK systems, specialists of the contractor created complete integrated solution. It provides the high-quality guaranteed and uninterrupted power supply and support of optimal parameters of the environment of the IT equipment with a total power not less than 125 kW.

Project Results

The Data Processing Center (DPC) is created in the administrative building of the Far Eastern Energy Company (FEEC).

The DPC represents a complex of the network and server hardware for smooth operation of business processes of the company. In case of non-staff situations work of infrastructure services does not stop.

Thanks to successful cooperation all works, beginning from installation of a ventilation system and finishing with thin setup of a monitoring system of a hardware and software system, were executed at the highest level".
