Favorit motors builds "green" network infrastructure

Allied Telesis company together with Impulse Telecom commercial and industrial company implemented the project on creation of network infrastructure for a number of divisions of FAVORIT MOTORS group, the press service of integrator reported on March 28, 2013.

Construction

In construction of networks the high-performance 52-port switches of the second level of AT-9000/52 series equipped with ports of 48 Gigabits / with 10/10/1000T and four ports 100/1000T SFP are used. Switches of AT-9000 series are selected because of an ability to manage by these devices from the remote mode to one IP address (Enhanced Stacking) and also security on network edge due to support of authentication at the level of ports. Also AT-9000/52 model of the eco-friendly series differs in the lowered energy consumption and noise level.

In the specific project on border of corporate network FAVORIT MOTORS the switches of the second AT-8000S/48 and AT-8000S/24POE level mounted in a stack with support of POE were used. The modern control functions by service quality (QoS) implemented by devices of series 8000S provide reliable providing different network services.
