2020: Transfer to a cloud system of Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs of the Russian Federation

Cloud4Y On August 5, 2020 announced transfer to cloud systems FEDERAL AGENCY FOR ETHNIC AFFAIRS Russia.

Monitoring systems of the international and interfaith relations and early warning of conflict situations of Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs of the Russian Federation were created for the purpose of harmonization of the international relations, strengthening of unity of the people of Russia and providing conditions for its full development.

A system automatically, in real time trace media, blogs, news portals, social networks and other Internet sources regarding arising conflict a situation on international or religious grounds. The operator obtains already filtered information on a situation, sees assessment of its criticality and can take the measures necessary for warning of further development of the conflict.

The information stream steadily grows in the Internet and to create own IT park for department costly and is inexpedient. It should be expanded and upgraded, serviced and supported constantly in working order. Therefore the agency made the decision to use opportunities which are offered by cloud platforms. Clouds can provide flexibility necessary for Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs of the Russian Federation, scalability, a possibility of fast adding of virtual machines for operators, creation of mathematical models on the basis of algorithms of artificial intelligence and "smart" filtering of the department of content which is not relating to subject.

With the purpose to find the worthy technology partner the organization announced the tender for providing the protected high-performance solution capable to close requirement of Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs and in the long term further development. The Cloud4Y company became the winner of competition in whom the Russian providers participated.

The corporate cloud provider confirmed compliance to all security requirements and provided all IT infrastructure necessary for \system operations of monitoring of the international and interfaith relations and early warning of conflict situations. After a number of the tests which are carried out by Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs with the purpose to be convinced of capability of a cloud platform of Cloud4Y to cope with high loads, the organization completed process of migration in cloud infrastructure of provider.

Now, thanks to cooperation with Cloud4Y, monitoring systems work uninterruptedly and quickly, allowing Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs of the Russian Federation to collect and analyze information, without asking questions of service and upgrade of the IT park. Migration in a cloud allowed the organization to focus on work, to make the long-term budget plan and to provide the proper level of protection of sensitive data needlessly independently to undergo regular certification in FSB and FSTEC.
