The Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring) has begun to transfer components of its Unified Information System (EIS) to a database management system (DBMS) based on domestic or open source software. This became known on March 23, 2022.
In particular, the text mentions the DBMS of the PostgreSQL family. On the domestic market, on its basis, for example, the Postgres Pro DBMS was developed, which is included in the register of Russian software. The system was created by the Russian company Postgres Professional. The official website of Rosfinmonitoring should also be transferred to such a DBMS.
The service allocated 461.2 million rubles for the development of the system. The tender for public procurement was published on March 22, 2022. Applications for an open competition are accepted until April 8, its results will be announced on April 15.
