Federal Migration Service (Oracle Database 10g Standard Edition One)

The RDTECH company completed development of an information system of ensuring accounting and information processing about the persons having the status of displaced persons in territorial and federal authorities of Federal Migration Service. A system is implemented on the Oracle Database Standard Edition platform.

Results

As a result of creation of the Displaced persons system employee performance of FMS of Russia at the expense of the centralized maintaining and consolidation of data on the persons having the status of displaced persons and the state compensation relying them was increased. The automated support of processes of information search and formation of a complex analytical and statistical (including, state) reportings under requests of law enforcement agencies and divisions of FMS of Russia is implemented. Also within the project analytical activity in the field of identification of the violations connected with use of the status of the displaced person was automated.

The solution allows to carry out the accounting and the analysis of list of displaced persons with detailing on a floor, the social status, education level, etc. and also information on participation of families of displaced persons in programs for providing the state support.

The Displaced persons system uses opportunities DBMS Oracle. The software application and the database of the central (federal) level FMS of Russia it is capable to cope effectively with large volumes of information and to provide high efficiency of its processing. At the same time the received software solution was received by "lung", functions in the environment Oracle Database Standard Edition, without imposing considerable requirements to characteristics of servers and other technical means. "The feature of a system is that software solutions for information processing and maintaining the central database at the federal level will also be used for implementation in territorial authorities of FMS of Russia as they work for free without loss of functionality and in the environment of the distributed platform Oracle Database Express Edition, - the project manager from RDTECH Andrey Ozerov explained. - It allows the customer to use most effectively financial resources upon purchase of licenses of Oracle".

At the moment a system is operated in Central office of FMS of Russia.
