The Federal State Statistics Service upgrades corporate EDMS

The company CROC upgraded electronic document management system (EDMS) in Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), the company reported on January 22, 2013.

"The solution on the EMC Documentum platform was implemented in Central office of Rosstat last year. In same we connected to it all 82 territorial authorities of our organization. From the moment of use of EDMS and for today about 80,000 documents are registered, in a system about 500 people once work. Considering large increase of documents (nearly 600 in day), in the near future load of a system will increase" — Mikhail Burdakov, the head of department of information resources and technologies of Rosstat noted.

"The solution proposed by CROC allowed Rosstat to pass to paperless turnover, both between divisions of the organization, and in interaction with other departments. All documents are registered that allows to control the status of their execution; the idle time and quick search in a system increasing personnel labor productivity is performed. Execution of the issued instructions is easily monitored by the management of Rosstat due to the invariance of lifecycle of documents" — Alexey Dobrovolsky, the director of software development of CROC company emphasized.
