In an information system of the Federal Treasury Department across the Amur region the TrustAccess firewall is implemented

The Code of Security company announced in February, 2012 that in automated information system of Federal Treasury Department for the Amur region (further – Management) the distributed TrustAccess firewall of development of Code of Security company was implemented.

Information technology specialists and information security of Management were faced by a problem of ensuring data protection of limited access (confidential information and personal data) according to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation processed in automated information systems (further – the AIS) Managements, in the conditions of the tough budget and limited terms. It is necessary to mention that automated information system of Management has complex structure and consists of more than 300 workstations and about 30 servers. At the same time information of limited access is processed or stored on 3 servers and about 40 stantsy stations of network.

Product introduction of TrustAccess allowed to solve a problem without reconfiguring of the existing infrastructure and without use of means of cryptographic information protection. TrustAccess allowed to select the computers processing information of limited access in separate network segment and to provide the certified protection of the segmented section of network. The product TrustAccess, is certified by FSTEC of Russia on compliance to the ME 2 and NDV 4 levels that allows to use a product in automated systems to class 1G inclusive and in information systems of personal data processing to class K1 inclusive.

One of selection terms of means of protecting was the compatibility with operating systems of the MS Windows family running which servers and workstations including with modern modifications of MS Windows Server 2008 and MS Windows 7 work. Drivers of TrustAccess are tested according to a technique of Microsoft and signed with the certificate of WHQL, the product has the Microsoft Works with Windows Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft Works with Windows 7 logos.
