The solution Kaspersky Security for virtual environments will protect virtual servers and workstations in network of Rostekhnadzor with assistance of ARinteg company which made delivery of licenses, the press service of vendor reported on April 16, 2013.

Basis and expectations

Upgrading IT infrastructure Rostekhnadzor created private "cloud" for transfer of a part of information resources to virtual space. Thus, in a working environment of Rostekhnadzor there were virtual servers and virtual workstations which need to be protected from modern cyberthreats.

"For successful work in modern conditions before us there was a problem of transfer of computing resources and data warehouses in private "cloud", so, and inevitable virtualization of servers and workstations. For protection of virtual working environments we addressed Kaspersky Lab, and our partners from ARinteg company helped us to integrate the selected solution in our IT infrastructure — Sergey Shchegolev, the head of information technology of Rostekhnadzor told. — As a result of integration we achieved effective protection against network threats.
