The design studio Futura by red mad robot together with the company "Figure" developed the concept of effective interfaces for customers/customers of the company in the industrial sector. This was announced on August 17, 2021 by RedMadRobot. The goal of the concept was to improve the efficiency of operator engineers who monitor key process indicators and make decisions on changing the operating modes of production plants, implementing repair and maintenance measures, etc. - including by improving the interaction processes with industrial process automation systems. Improved UX/UI solutions increase the speed at which employees read and perceive information, optimize the operation of the entire production chain, and improve the effectiveness of disaster prevention systems.

The design team over several months reworked a large array of data across several industries, analyzed the UX/UI solutions used, based on the study of which the optimal interface was designed. In the updated concept, instead of the traditional multi-column tables and complex mnemonic diagrams for industrial IT systems, which are difficult to manipulate, interactive graphs and intuitive reports are available to operators and management. The prototype provides an effective set of options for interacting with reports, schedules, and dashboards. You do not need to learn how to work with elements from the interface.

The development of an interface for programs used in industry is a difficult task, the solution of which justifies the efforts made. After all, the ease of mastering and interacting with systems can significantly improve company performance: information processing takes up to 35% of employee brain resources, leading to increased fatigue and the risk of making incorrect decisions, which directly affects business results. Futura by red_mad_robot specialists designed interface concepts for three industrial solutions "Figure." Prototypes were presented for the system of operational monitoring of key parameters of production, which allows to monitor the condition and operation modes of equipment at the oil or any other enterprise; a semi-automatic solution to monitor compliance by employees of Eye Safety enterprises, as well as for a system for monitoring the quality of heat treatment of pipes.
