Axelot has developed the OOO warehouse technology project "First dry port terminal" and the logic of new business processes, taking into account the subsequent implementation of WMS. Axelot announced this on November 17, 2022.

OOO "First dry port terminal" is a container terminal directly connected by road and rail to the seaport. It acts as a center for transshipment of sea cargo in internal directions. In addition to the role in cargo transshipment, the dry port can also accept cargo for storage and provide customs clearance services.

Dry port is an important hub in the logistics chain of international and domestic multimodal transportation. In the modern world, everything happens quickly, and the delivery of goods must be operational. For the development of the region, it is important that logistics processes within the dry port occur quickly and accurately. In order to achieve this goal, First dry port terminal, together with Axelot, introduced the Axelot TOS container and port terminal management system.

The next step of the First dry port terminal management was the decision to build a warehouse to which goods from containers will be unloaded, customs clearance, stored, reassembled and shipped in small batches. In order to obtain a technological project for the future warehouse, First dry port terminal invited Axelot Consult.

Goods to the dry port come from both containers and trucks and railway cars. These are products of local manufacturers and imports, respectively, there are various types of pallets, as well as oversized goods in one of the sizes reaching 6 meters. The area of ​ ​ the new warehouses is more than 14,000 square meters, there is both a warm warehouse and a warehouse that maintains a special temperature regime.

The Axelot Consult specialists were faced with the task of developing a warehouse technological design taking into account the implementation of WMS literally without input data. As a basis for technological calculations, a project was taken describing the prospects economic development Uzbekistan and potential market share of First dry port terminal LLC. Taking into account these forecasts, reduced to the twenty-foot equivalent, the project team mathematically obtained the parameters of the incoming and outgoing commodity flow, the volume of stored goods, and calculated the number of gates and paletomests for the period up to 2050.

Business process diagrams and logic have been developed, taking into account the execution of warehouse operations under the management of WMS, which First dry port terminal plans to implement in the near future.

Axelot also helped "First dry port terminal" prepare the necessary calculations and documentation for design architects who would design a warehouse for FDP for targeted commodity turnover and targeted goods. The management of First dry port terminal has begun to implement the solutions planned within the framework of the technological project.
