Customers: Ministry of Economic Development of Perm Territory

Project date: 2016/10

At the end of October 2016, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Perm Territory signed an investment agreement with the international medical company Fresenius Medical Care. The agreement concerns the creation of a dialysis clinic in Perm, the Kommersant newspaper reports.

As part of the agreement, about 200 million rubles will be invested in the construction of the clinic. More than 35 jobs will be created for the institution and at least 20 dialysis devices will be purchased, which will serve 120 patients.

Dialysis is a therapeutic procedure that performs some functions instead of kidneys. It is needed by patients who suffer from acute or chronic renal failure.

It is assumed that the public-private partnership will take place by analogy with other clinics opened by the company in Russian cities. Fresenius Medical Care will pay for the training of specialists and the construction of the center, Perm Territory will provide a plot, and the territorial health insurance fund will pay for the procedure. The press service of the manufacturer added to the publication that the place for construction by the end of October 2016 has not yet been chosen.

This project will benefit the company and the region, said Alexey Smirnov, general director of Fresenius NephroKea LLC.
