The Japanese producer of the electric vehicles GLM expands business using the solutions Dassault Systèmes

On November 20, 2018 the Dassault Systèmes company announced that the GLM company implemented platform 3DEXPERIENCE for expansion of the business on development of electric vehicles. Being the company which began mass production of sports electric vehicles in Japan, GLM will be able to meet high demand both on the examination, and on own technical platform on development of solutions for electric vehicles, including the chassis, power units and control blocks by the car which are used by car makers and new players from other industries for development of market innovations.

The GLM company will implement the industry solution of "Electro Mobility Accelerator" constructed based on platform 3DEXPERIENCE. GLM can integrate design processes and developments, to increase efficiency of the work and to use the knowledge and a know-how for expansion of a range of the products and solutions and also to accelerate their transfer to the OEM manufacturing, suppliers and other companies participating in development of electric vehicles. The cloud digital medium implemented on platform 3DEXPERIENCE provides to GLM a possibility of joint work over several projects with partners of the company in Japan at once. Besides, implementation of the platform will simplify cooperation with future partners in a measure of an entry of GLM into the new markets.
