iSolutions-Logistika based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 in new operator of logistics services Garde

The iSolutions company and Garde company of St. Petersburg, the player in the market of logistics services, signed the agreement on complex automation of a warehouse based on the ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

Logistic company Garde the young, dynamically developing company rendering a full range of logistics services in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. It is difficult to imagine work of a modern warehouse without means of automation therefore the choice of the WMS system capable to provide high requirements of business became one of important points for company management of Garde. The choice of industry solution of iSolutions-Logistika based on Microsoft Dynamics AX as a warehouse management system was caused by functional features which completely satisfy requirement of the warehouse rendering services of safe custody. Besides, the flexibility of a system allows to react quickly to customer requirements of Garde company and also to execute integration with different corporate systems.

The first client of Garde company was the Furniture company "VIMIS" which is engaged in production of kitchen furniture, and distributes self-produced products. For the purpose of increase in efficiency of internal logistics and cost reduction the VIMIS company refused use of own warehouses for benefit of services of logistic company Garde. Therefore already at the first stage the solution iSolutions-Logistika based on Microsoft Dynamics AX underwent testing for flexibility of a system – it was required to implement specific customer requirements, such as accounting of fragility, at storage of component parts with glass, placement and storage of oversized goods, formation of sets for shipment to the end customer.

The iSolutions command within the project on management of a warehouse will automate all processes, including setup of topology of a warehouse and reference books of nomenclatures, acceptance, placement, shipment and selection of goods, inventory, integration into terminals of collecting melon and printers of printing of labels, including billing of services of safe custody.
