Gazprom will spend more than 800 million rubles for technical support of software and "iron" of Oracle

2017: Maintenance of the equipment and software of Oracle for 820.7 million rubles

On April 13, 2017 the service IT company of GazpromGazprom inform published information on purchase at the only service provider on maintenance of the equipment and support of the software of Oracle.^[1] the Cost of the contract makes 820.7 million rubles, at the same time the name of the supplier does not reveal.

Gazprom will spend over 820 million rubles for technical support of Oracle

The contractor of the contract will have to provide service support of the equipment at producer company, conduct preventive examination, be engaged in installation and the iron setup and also, if necessary, to repair or replace the failed components. The customer has available different servers Sun SPARC and Sun Fire, disk arrays Sun StorAge, tape libraries Sun StorageTek, workstations and the Sun Blade servers, a HSS Exadata Database Machine, LCD monitors and the other equipment.

Similar service works should is carried out also concerning the software. The list of "software" which needs maintenance includes such solutions as Oracle Database Standard and Enterprise Edition, Internet Developer Suite, Internet Application Server, WebLogic Server Real Application Clusters and so forth.

In certain cases presence of specialists of Oracle on the platform of the customer can be required. All services in technical support of the equipment and the software should appear until the end of 2018.

The similar amounts for technical support of Oracle are spent by Sberbank. According to TAdviser, the largest Russian bank spent only for maintenance of software of Oracle in 2016 more than 600 million rubles. The considerable amounts spend for products and services of Oracle also other Russian companies. In particular, Rostelecom in 2016 bought software products and technical support services of Oracle for 1.8 billion rubles. Transneft during the same period spent about 350 million rubles for similar solutions.

2016: Maintenance of the equipment and software of Oracle for 443.7 million rubles

In May, 2016 Gazprom inform^[2] for rendering services in maintenance of the equipment and support of software of Oracle summed up the request for proposals results. The request was published in April, the maximum price of the agreement was 443.7 million rubles.

The winner selected former "subsidiary" Gazprom - Gazprom avtomatizatsiya suggested to render services for 442, 4 million rubles. In addition to her the companies also participated in biddings Prime Group and Atlantis of komyyunikeyshnz.

According to terms of reference, among services which the supplier should render Gazprom inform - routine inspection of the equipment and development of recommendations about its further operation, repair and replacement of the failed equipment or its components by own efforts or with involvement of producer company, diagnostics of failures of functioning of the equipment, provides visits of the specialists in case of emergency situations, etc.

Regarding software services include works on its installation, setup and updating upon the demand of the customer, diagnostics of failures of functioning and fault recovery, to consultation on operation, setup and administration, etc.

The equipment which is required to be supported includes servers SPARC Enterprise Sun Fire, Sun Blade, Sun Ultra, disk arrays and Sun workstations, monitors and other equipment. In turn, the software set, is generally provided Oracle DBMS. In addition to it the list includes such products as Real Application Clusters, Internet Application Server and others.

Timelines for delivery of services are designated by the end of December, 2016.

2015: Maintenance of the equipment and software of Oracle for 266.7 million rubles

Gazprom inform carried out purchase of services of support of the equipment and software of Oracle for 2015 by two requests for proposals. The first of them^[3], with the starting price of 142.1 million rubles, was carried out at the end of 2014. The application was submitted only by one company –Gazprom avtomatizatsiya, ex-"subsidiary" of Gazprom.

The second purchase^[4] took place in August, 2015. Its starting price was 124.6 million rubles, and the only request, as well as in the first case, arrived only from Gazprom avtomatizatsiya.
