Gazprombank tests PostgreSQL to save on Oracle

Gazprombank wants to transfer the electronic document management system which is used at it based on the Documentum platform from Oracle DBMS on open PostgreSQL DBMS, told TAdviser two sources well familiar with plans of this organization, in October, 2016.

Testing of PostgreSQL is conducted with the new version of Documentum (version 7.3) which Dell EMC for wide use is going to start in December, 2016.
