2020: The Wi-fi organization of network in 400 departments of Gazprombank

On October 8, 2020 the Rostelecom company reported that it completed creation of a wireless local area network of communication on Wi-fi technology in 400 departments of Gazprombank.

According to the company, Rostelecom organized the protected wireless network of Wi-fi in departments of Gazprombank through the whole country with support of authorization of users in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Thus, even the offices servicing fields in geographically hard-to-reach spots received the modern infrastructure which is not conceding to opportunities of the large cities. The network is available as to clients to whom wireless Internet access, and is provided for employees for access to information resources of bank.

The project of creation of the protected wireless network of Wi-fi is further development of cooperation of Rostelecom with Gazprombank in development of digital technologies. The agreement defining the broadest spectrum of the directions of partnership was signed in October, 2019.

For Gazprombank of Wi-fi in departments is the one more communication channel with the client. We are glad to provide to visitors high-speed Internet access. It is the necessary service in modern realities for the client: having connected to Wi-Fi-network in department it is possible to update or download, for example, quickly mobile application without loss of mobile traffic. Alexey Popovic, the senior vice president, the board member of Gazprombank commented

I want to note that the Wi-fi network for departments of Gazprombank was unrolled in the shortest possible time - the decision on the organization of network was made in January, 2020, and in March, 2020 the first 100 departments were already provided with service. For October, 2020 the Wi-fi network earned already in 400 bank departments. In process of opening of offices we will continue further expansion of network. Alexey Podryabinnikov, the director of work with corporate customers of PJSC Rostelecom noted
