ER-Telecom Holding organized "smart" city lighting in Perm

2022: Completion of work on the organization of "smart" urban lighting

In the 13th year of 2022, ER-Telecom Holding (TM Дом.ру Business) announced that it had completed work on a project to organize smart city lighting covering the entire territory of the city.

As a result of the project, 11,000 old lamp street lamps were replaced with effective LED devices. An important feature was the integration of an intelligent outdoor lighting control system with the existing dispatching and control system of the Gorsvet Perm municipal unitary enterprise.

Lighting fixtures are controlled remotely. The system runs on a wireless Internet of Things network based on LoRaWAN technology.

We continue to expand the geography of our Smart Light project and note the high interest on the part of regional executive bodies in introducing "light innovations" on their territory, - commented Ilya Vasketsov, head of the department for interaction with the state segment of ER-Telecom Holding JSC. - We plan that in the coming year the scale of our project will increase 2 times.
