2015
July 2, 2015 it became known about the introduction FC Grand Capital of the system in the pharmaceutical company. "1C: WMS" AXELOT has AXELOT[1]
Project Tasks
The company's warehouse area in the Moscow region is 10,800 m2, it is divided into several storage areas, including the main storage area, two refrigerating chambers for medicines and a mezzanine. The warehouse stores products from external suppliers:
- pharmaceuticals,
- BAA,
- related goods (bahila, hats, bandages, crutches, etc.).
10th anniversary of FC Grand Capital, 2012
Previously, the FC Grand Capital warehouse used an automation system focused on management accounting. With the opening of its own pharmacy chain and the planned growth in turnover, the company's management decided to introduce a new WMS, which will ensure the use of radio terminals and cope with the load on the warehouse, taking into account the growth in sales. The company chose for a long time and preferred the 1C: WMS system. AXELOT was identified as the contractor for the implementation project.
Project Progress
The warehouse automation works were carried out in two stages:
- starting the system in the main storage space,
- automation of a mezzanine built for the needs of a pharmacy chain.
During the project automated:
- acceptance of goods of suppliers,
- customer returns.
Optimized product selection algorithms:
- zone selection is carried out from the main part of the warehouse,
- cluster - from the mezzanine.
After selection, the goods are brought to the control area, where they are located in specially allocated lines of cells intended for temporary storage of the goods along delivery routes. In this area there are controllers with TSD, on the fact of the work of which a packing list with the composition of the goods and a specialized label developed for the requirements of customers are printed.
After the control procedure, the product is sorted along the delivery routes. Route consolidation is performed with the TSD. The storekeeper selects the flight number, and the system gives information about which pallet will go on this flight. When loading into the vehicle, the number of vehicles shipped is monitored by scanning the barcodes of each pallet or box.
Project Outcome
As of July 2, 2015, 10 stationary and 50 mobile workstations were automated. With the support of 1C: WMS, the warehouse was switched to 24-hour operation.
With the introduction of the automation system, the company switched to piecemeal remuneration for employees. The productivity of the warehouse is steadily increasing, expressed in the volume of goods processed without attracting additional labor.
