Grand Line increased loading of a production equipment using Manager

On October 16, 2019 the Tsifra company reported that Grand Line, producer of materials for construction in the territory of Russia and Europe, increased loading of a production equipment by a third, using a system for digitalization of Manager machines that provided an additional income of the company.

For October, 2019 Manager monitors work of 37 items of equipment at the plant in Kaluga and 30 more — in Obninsk. It gives objective efficiency evaluation of use of working time and production losses, allows to adjust timely the working schedule of the equipment and personnel, to optimize technology processes and to eliminate "jams" in a technology chain.

In total for a month of work Manager helped to reveal independent idle times, violations of temporary standards of carrying out technology transactions and their reason. It served as a starting point for the whole series of management decisions on improvement of production indicators. Advance supply with supplies and spare parts (rollers) is provided, regulations of work of changes and the system of motivation of workers are changed, rules of carrying out daily maintenance are developed. As a result of these actions the load factor of the equipment increased by 17% that provided to the plant an additional income.

We were convinced of usefulness of the Manager system as instrument of monitoring of operation of the equipment and personnel of all for a month of its test operation. Its use on our production sites allows to increase considerably capital productivity and to reduce expenses as now we see all picture of production in real time and we can quickly react to any changes or even to foresee them, comments Vahid Hodzhayev the technical director of Grand Line
