Video surveillance for schools on an example of GimnaziiNo. 3 (Novosibirsk)

In the project hardware-software solutions of the Novosibirsk developer "Sigrand" are applied: IP cameras, PoE switches, service of cloud video surveillance and data storage.

In January, 2014 on the equipment of Sigrand the project on providing the Gymnasium No. 3 of Sovetsky district, Novosibirsk is implemented by a video surveillance system. The project is executed within the program of public security Safe area.

For the organization video surveillance of the Gymnasium was used 23 IP cameras which cover perimeter of the building and internal premises: floor-by-floor corridors, toilets, dining room.

The used equipment:

• IP cameras of standard execution, 10 pieces
• IP cameras of street execution, 13 pieces
• Additional options for IP cameras – the equipment WiFi for the organization of access points, 15 pieces
• Ethernet PoE switch, 1 piece

Project Features.

• Modern IP cameras of high resolution with a number of unique opportunities are involved: consecutive connection on PoE, support of the "access point" mode.
• Sensors 5 Mpk allow to receive video filming with high detailing
• Consecutive connections of IP cameras allowed to reduce the price of installation and cost of the equipment. For connection of all 23 IP cameras port Ethernet is used by the PoE switch one 4
• Street IP cameras are supplied with the motorized optics with an auto focus that considerably simplified setup of cameras
• For the organization of a wireless internet on 15 IP cameras WiFi add-on modules are installed. Such IP cameras can be configured in the access point mode through which can be to be connected different mobile devices. WiFi modules equips all IP cameras in premises and two outdoor cameras on an input of school

For record of broadcastings from IP cameras it is used by NVR on the basis of the free version of developed Sigrand. The server is installed in the general network with one provider and services different cameras of Sovetsky district being a part of the Safe area program. Thanks to it the separate server was not required that considerably saved the cost of the organization of video surveillance for the Gymnasium.

Project cost, including the equipment, works and materials, was 338 thousand rub.
