HPE and Inspur localize production of servers and DWH in Russia

On May 15, 2020 localization of production of servers and storage systems of the American Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and the Chinese Inspur knew. As the partner of the company selected the NVision Group system integrator entering into group of MTS.

As representatives of the companies told Kommersant, production of the IT equipment will be arranged based on the Saransk television plant. At first products which are turned out there will be delivered to clients to NVision Group, the companies of group of MTS and AFK "Sistema", but also options of export to the CIS countries are considered.

According to the edition, investments into the first stage of the project will make $3 million, and in process of increasing localization of an investment will be increased. In NVision Group the expenses did not begin to call.

The company told the newspaper that since 2021 it is going to organize production under a new Russian brand more than 15 models of the IT equipment which number, in addition to servers and DWH, will include switches, routers, a radio relay equipment, the equipment of security, the solution in the Wi-fi segment, uninterruptible power supply units, told in NVision Group.

In 2020 the company intends to complete negotiations on acquisition of the non-exclusive intellectual rights to production of some models of servers, the president Sergey Gavrenkov specified it. The Saransk plant can provide release of 6  thousand servers a month on the available line and is capable to increase capacities as required, he noted. According to Gavrenkov, NVision Group will conduct production on the Russian blocks and components, to perform surface mount of payments, to use the Russian software. In the field of production of components for DWH negotiations with Element Group and Sitronics Group, said in the publication are planned.[1]
