Hospital of emergency medical service (Petrozavodsk) (Karelian Medical Information System (KMIS))

In cooperation with the partner of IBM by K-MIS company in hospital of emergency medical service of Petrozavodsk eight medical and three diagnostic departments of hospital were automated receiving. A new system on the basis of the IBM Lotus and Domino software products provides maintaining electronic clinical records and use of different modules of medical electronic document management, automation of obtaining statistical and financial and economic reporting, integration of a system with diagnostic service to which departments of UZD, endoscopy and functional diagnostics, radiological department and an office of a computer tomography were connected.

"Doctors of clinical departments of BSMP got interactive access to archive of clinical records of patients which formation became possible with an automation project startup. As a result we will receive the improved diagnostics at the expense of online access to relevant information on the patient", – Andrey Myachin, the head of department of an ACS, GBUZ Hospital of Emergency Medical Service comments.
