2021: Switch to 1C from Scloud
The company Economic sphere"" switched to cloudy 1C from Scloud. The company ServiceCloud announced this on February 16, 2021.
Hossfera is a manufacturer and supplier of FMCG products. The company introduced cloud 1C in December 2019 and in the future planned to automate the warehouse and increase the output of goods. But all these projects were threatened - problems began on the contractor's remote server.
Before the introduction of the cloud, the company used the "box" (local) version "1C: Trade Management" and "1C: ZUP." But the business developed, the volume of the database grew, the requirements for the server increased. Sometimes the base was unloaded for 3 hours, and the 1C specialist was waiting for that longer, meanwhile, during all this time, serious problems with the motherboard arose three times.
All these problems escalated at the moment when the company had its own production and storage space outside the city limits. The company's office with employees moved there.
In search of a solution to 1C problems, program support and data storage, the company decided to rent 1C in the cloud. In December 2019, they turned to the developer and provider of cloud 1C, which has a developed network of branches in different regions.
As a result, Hozsfera LLC connected cloud versions of 1C: UT 11.4, Accounting 3.0, 1C: ZUP 3. The archive databases "1C: UT 10.3," "Accounting 2.0" were also transferred to remote servers. About 4 dozen users connected, and some work remotely.
1C in the cloud worked faster "boxes." However, problems soon began. It turned out that the contractor did not warn that all the necessary scheduled tasks should be connected separately through technical support. We spent time finding the causes and solving the problem, and then COVID-19 began. The company is fully focused on the development of potential growth points and the supply of high-demand goods without delays and interruptions.
In the summer months, business in Russia began to come to life, but at that moment problems with 1C began at Khozsfer. Reports were generated much longer than usual.
The time for uploading reports was not a blocking problem: earlier on the "locale," it happened, they waited longer. But the implementation of the Data Collection Terminal (TSD) for the warehouse at such a server response rate was impossible. The fact is that the program needs to exchange data with the 1C database. Excessive waiting negates attempts to automate the layout of goods and other processes in the warehouse.
They began to look for another 1C rental contractor.
Requested free two-week access to Scloud.
Immediately after connection 1C, Scloud completed warehouse automation and the implementation of TSD. Positive changes were noticed immediately. The warehouse worker no longer had to learn long and difficult. He immediately saw where, what kind of goods to look for. As a result, they were able to significantly accelerate the assembly of orders and continue projects to develop and scale production and business as a whole.
At the same time, employees became much less likely to contact management with 1C problems. And if earlier the specialist needed at least half an hour to order 150-200 items, now it took 10 minutes. And there are about two hundred such applications a day. The productivity of the department has tripled.
With Scloud, we began work in an important stage of development for the company: growth of our own production, coronavirus, and market transformation. The experience was so successful that we transferred all our enterprises to cloud 1C from Scloud, including the Kombucha beverage startup. In Scloud, an informative personal account, additional services can be connected bypassing the manager, the speed of work does not cause any complaints. As a result, we implemented warehouse automation without problems and, which is especially valuable to me as a manager, stopped being distracted by server and 1C problems and focused on strategic projects, said Vladimir Miller, co-founder of Hozsfera.
