In June, 2017 the ABM Cloud company completed the project on implementation of a cloud solution of ABM Retail in retail chain stores House-keeper.

Prerequisites of the Project:

  • outlets and the central office worked in the different accounting systems that as a result affected quality and efficiency of data exchange;
  • not debugged channels of exchange promoted emergence of errors and consolidations of information at the central office interfered. It complicated acceptance of management decisions;
  • pricing process automation, for flexible and operational management of revaluations was required;
  • processes of industrial automation of finished goods (accounting and pricing) were required;
  • the automation processes allowing were required it is convenient and transparent to manage the category range of big retail network of different formats;
  • integration with other IT systems, including the cash systems was necessary.

Project Objectives:

  • implement a single system of accounting which would allow to implement information exchange between outlets and the central office on trade operations, sales, purchases, pricing, production of finished goods online;
  • increase efficiency of business processes;
  • accelerate goods turnover rate;
  • provide transparency of analytical information.

At the beginning of the project pilot start of several outlets, with the subsequent active replication of all network was carried out. In June, 2017, all network, more than 50 shops, was transferred to the accounting system of ABM Retail. Integration into four different cash programs for simultaneous operation is implemented. Personnel training of outlets and heads of departments of the central office, both on work with a system, and on methodology of management was provided. ABM Retail is set at back-office and is used at the central office and outlets in the "thin client" mode. After project completion maintenance is performed by technical support service which provides technical and methodological advices.

The technology of remote start and training became feature of the project.

Project Results:

  • The single system of management and accounting of ABM Retail is implemented.
  • The functionality of management of the category range is implemented that allowed to optimize trade inventories, to increase sales, to reduce quantity of the illiquid and low-wrapped positions.
  • The functionality of management of pricing allows to appoint revaluations both for regular, and for the promotional prices with the set action period.
  • Speed of preparation and use of the reporting and expanded analytics is increased.
  • There was an instrument of forecasting of sales.
